Mercado, Mazatlán Sinaloa

A great source of fresh products is the Mercado in downtown Mazatlán. The mercado is barely visible from the street, for all the buildings have the same look. But in one of the blocks you can find one of the many entrances where they sell typical dresses, arts and crafts, juices, wood toys and anything you can imagine. Walking inside the Mercado is pleaseant. the place is really clean and the sellers are happy to invite you try the fresh cheese and any delight they have to offer. If you go in the morning you can find fresh fish caught that day and fruits that arrived from different parts of mexico.

Faro, Mazatlán, Sinaloa. México

En la zona sur de Mazatlán en el cerro de la isla del Crestón se encuentra el faro. Considerado uno de los faros naturales más altos del mundo. El camino por el malecón de Mazatlán es hermoso con miradores hacia la bahía y hacia el oceano pacifico y la entrada al mar de cortés. Para llegar al faro hay que escalar a la cima de la isla del Crestón y así conocer un poco la flora y fauna de la región. Al llegar al faro hay zonas de descanso y una tiendita con bebidas.

South of Mazatlán you can find the Faro on the island of Crestón. It is considered one of the tallest natural lighthouses in the world only second to the one in Gibraltar. The drive south through the Malecón is beautiful and filled with great views of the city, the bay, and the Pacific Ocean.
